Costume Exchange

Have a costume you, your kids, or even your pup have outgrown? Ready to trade last year’s look for a new Halloween adventure? Bring your gently used costumes to our Costume Exchange and find something new-to-you!   Drop it off by October 20th at the Teton County School District #1 Office (1235 Gregory Lane) or Hungry Jack's General Store in Wilson. When costumes are dropped off, a ticket will be issued.  Present the ticket at the costume exchange booth on October 24th, and you can get a costume for $5.  If you do not have a costume to exchange but would like to purchase one, the cost will be $10.

Why Donate

Behind every painted face and every costume swapped is a student who benefits. EFJH raises funds for TCSD #1 programs that meet students’ basic needs and remove barriers to learning. These programs provide meal balance forgiveness for students experiencing food insecurity; mental health counseling for students experiencing loss, grief, or trauma; follow-up treatment for students with findings discovered at dental screening; essential supplies for students experiencing housing insecurity, and administration of the Teton County Scholarship Program.

Thank you to Hungry Jack's General Store for hosting and supporting TCSD students.

(please leash dogs at the event)

As the official philanthropic partner of Teton County School District #1, the Education Foundation of Jackson Hole (formerly Fund for Public Education) is a 501(c)(3) that ensures all students are equipped to lead lives with purpose and possibility.

3,000 students. 400+ teachers and district staff. All 10 public schools.

Your support matters.

Your gift ensures Teton County students have access to school meals, mental health care, and learning essentials—right here in our public schools.

WHAT IS THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF JACKSON HOLE (EFJH)?

EFJH is the engine behind what public education can be when it’s fully supported, stepping in where state and federal funding fall short.

HOW IS EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF JACKSON HOLE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER NONPROFITS?

EFJH is the only non-profit organization designated as the official philanthropic partner of the Teton County School District #1.

WHY NOT GIVE DIRECTLY TO SCHOOLS?

The school district does not have the capacity or structure to accept donations directly.

SHOULDN’T MY PROPERTY TAXES BE ENOUGH?

Wyoming funds public schools through a state model. While Teton County collects local taxes, any amount beyond the model’s limit goes to the state for redistribution. Public funding and federal support don’t fully cover essential programs, so EFJH raises private funds to bridge the gap for Teton County public schools and students.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

GIVE TODAY. Make your check payable to the Education Foundation of Jackson Hole. Checks can be sent to PO Box 1048, Jackson, WY 83001. Give by credit card by clicking on the “Donate” button in the upper right corner of the website.

MAKE A PLEDGE. You can pledge to make your gift in installments covering any period up to three years. Payments can be made monthly, quarterly, or annually.

GIVE WITH CONFIDENCE. Giving through the Education Foundation of Jackson Hole is a safe and easy way to support Teton County School District. All gifts directly support TCSD’s schools, teachers, staff, and students.

SPREAD THE WORD. Without community investment, critical gaps widen. Food insecurity, untreated mental health needs and dental emergencies don’t pause for bureaucracy and student needs are rising. Encourage your friends to join you in supporting us.
